Little did we know how much we had in common. We’re women, authors, and survivors of financial abuse.
99% of women worldwide who are domestically abused are also financially abused. More than fifty thousand of those women die every year from domestic abuse, while many of those women stay in the abusive relationships because leaving means no home, no healthcare, no food, and no finances of their own.
