UNITING ORGANIZATIONS

A Global Collaboration for Survivors of
Domestic and Financial Abuse

One of the core missions of the I Know Why She Stayed Initiative is to unite organizations around the world that address the complex realities of domestic violence. The impact of financial abuse on women and families is often overlooked and the reason people ask “why does she stay.”

We believe that our unique 4-Pillar program  promotes healing, safety, and independence. It should not be limited by borders or the barriers like transportation, isolation, language, fear, or lack of financial resources. Our unique program can reach into communities and supplement the services of more traditional outreach programs. That’s why we are building a global network of sister organizations committed to making survivor-centered resources accessible in ways that meet women where they are.

We invite nonprofits, libraries, advocacy groups, and grassroots networks to partner with us in delivering discreet, trauma-informed tools that bypass traditional roadblocks and empower survivors to rebuild their lives.

We are also seeking volunteer translators who can help us adapt our materials for use in diverse communities around the world. Your time and skills could help someone find freedom and hope in their own language.

Let’s work together to ensure that no survivor is left without a path forward.
