Kasey Rogers most recently worked as the Director of Finance for a small nonprofit. Her duties also included heading Human Resource and Grantwriting. Rogers is the author of the memoir Our Better Selves and the novel The Color of Frost, a work of historic fiction which provided the inspiration and blueprint for the I Know Why She Stayed Initiative. Early in her career, Rogers spent almost two decades in the commercial film industry in New York City, working on both broadcast and interactive projects for some of the world’s largest ad agencies. She brings her skills as a filmmaker, writer, speaker and advocate to this work.
