Kimberly Monaco Munday has honed her administrative talents, in many diverse industries, over decades. Liking nothing more than a challenge she approaches every problem as an opportunity for growth. From the power industry to education, to biotech and the medical field, she has demonstrated her skill in and love of improving systems and smoothing over glitches. Her motto in life is, “I’d rather live in the solution than the problem.”
Kimberly’s interest and support for I Know Why She Stayed is from her experiences growing up in an abusive household and then marrying right into another. During her efforts to leave that marriage, and while watching her mother do the same years before, the complete lack of support for women and families trying to escape violence became glaringly obvious. Painfully obvious. She now endeavors to help build and strengthen those much-needed structures, so women and children are not consistently chained to violent situations.
